Services for Faculty
Library Instruction Sessions
ECU faculty members may request course-related library instruction for undergraduate and graduate classes. Instruction sessions are taught by librarians who tailor the content to the specific class assignment and the students’ research needs.
Book a Librarian
We can meet with your students in person, via chat, using online meeting applications, or over the phone if you’d like them to receive more personalized help. They simply select a time (as soon as next day) that is convenient for their busy schedules. We can also meet virtually with you to advise on research-based assignments and integrating information literacy concepts into your classes.
Library Resources In Canvas
Search the Canvas Commons for library-related resources and add them to your courses. We develop discipline-specific library-related materials (for example, links to relevant databases, database tutorials, and research guides) as well as general information for getting help from a librarian, including links to our one-on-one consultation service. Interested in content customized to your particular course or assignment? Get in touch using the link below!
