Available Embedded Content

  • Plagiarism/Academic Integrity Module: videos and interactive tutorials; pre and post tests automatically go into your gradebook
  • Subject Research Modules: Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Hospitality Management, Library Science, Recreation and Leisure Studies; includes videos and interactive tutorials to instruct students in how to conduct research

If you would like to see the modules before embedding, please contact David Hisle at hisled@ecu.edu.

Electronic Course Reserves

Electronic reserves are provided through Canvas for items that are not available through an online database provided by ECU Libraries.

ECU faculty may provide permalinks directly to articles that are available in our online databases. Not sure how to best do this? Consult our FAQ for creating stable links.

How many items can I place on reserve?

There is no limit to the number of items you can place on electronic reserve. Faculty members are responsible for obtaining and keeping the copyright for all materials placed on reserve.

How long can I have items on reserve?

Due to copyright laws, all electronic reserves will be removed from the course at the end of the semester unless faculty members explicitly request they be continued for the following semester.
