About:
The annual School of Art and Design Graduate Student Art Exhibition features artwork by current graduate students in ECU’s School of Art and Design. Diverse works include paintings and drawings, textile and metal designs, sculpture, photography, pottery and more. Yearly awards include:

• Friends of Joyner Library Purchase Award: up to $1,000
• College of Fine Arts and Communication Dean’s Merit Award: $500
• Director’s Award: $350
• School of Art and Design Award: $250

18th annual School of Art and Design Graduate Student Art Exhibition

A reception and awards ceremony for the 18th annual School of Art and Design Graduate Student Art Exhibition was held Nov. 13 in the Janice Hardison Faulkner Gallery. Paul Edwards, for Chaos #2, was named the Friends of Joyner Library Purchase Award winner.

The 16 participating artists are: Liam Aley, Mavis Bullard, Katelyn Davis, Paul Edwards, Denton Fae, Heather Fraccalvieri (School of Art and Design Award), Sam Gorritz, Morgan Hesse, Austin Irby, Rachael Lowman, Tansy O’Bryant (School of Art and Design Director’s Award), Stacy Rodgers (College of Fine Arts and Communication Dean’s Merit Award), Narges Sedaghat, Autumn Standbridge, Ava Starnes and Savannah Willis.

This annual exhibit features artwork by current graduate students in ECU’s School of Art and Design. They work in a variety of styles, including painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, oil and metals.
