Microphones & Voice Amplification Equipment Available for Instructional Use

Please be aware ECU Libraries have microphones and voice amplification equipment available for instructional use.

Please note: If you are using for a traditional classroom, it may already have voice amplification available.
We ask that you first check the equipment provided in your classroom by visiting this site https://itcs.ecu.edu/classroom-search/

If you are teaching face to face wearing a mask, and have concerns about voice amplification please consider these two options:

Option 1 – Equipment Distribution directly to Faculty

We have a limited supply of portable voice amplification equipment such as belt mics available for distribution to ECU Faculty for instructional use.
These items are available for distribution at both libraries.

  • Joyner Library (ECU Main Campus Library) has items available to pick up at the library security desk, which is to your right as you enter the main library building.
  • Laupus Health Sciences Library has items available at their main circulation desk

Option 2 – ECU Libraries’ Circulating Equipment Loans

ECU Libraries circulate a variety of equipment to ECU-affiliated borrowers.
Please visit the following links to browse the categories below to view the various types of equipment available for checkout. (View the Equipment Use Policy)
