If you are not an ECU student, faculty, or staff member with a PirateID, please read below to learn if you are eligible for access to use Joyner Library’s Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services.

ECU Alumni

Alumni are not currently eligible for interlibrary and document delivery services. Please consult your local public library for interlibrary loan service; it can request materials from ECU for your use. Paid members of the ECU Alumni Association can, however, check materials out directly from Joyner Library and use the electronic resources in the building.

Retired ECU Faculty and Staff

If you are retired from ECU, you may request access by registering as a first time user of ILLiad. Please note that materials must be picked-up at Joyner Library; we cannot mail materials to you.

Friends of Joyner Library

If you are a current paid member of the Friends of Joyner Library, you may request access by registering as a first time user of ILLiad. Please note that materials must be picked-up at Joyner Library; we cannot mail materials to you. Learn more about the Friends of Joyner Library program

Other Libraries and Institutions (e.g. non-profit organizations, corporations, law firms, medical practices)

You may request access though our Interlibrary Loan Lending service. Visit the Interlibrary Loan Lending webpage for details.
