“Accessing the Pillar Dollar Wreck: A Design for All Approach to Exploring Maritime Heritage”

This exhibit uses digital and printed 3D models of the Pillar Dollar shipwreck to engage everyone in the history and process of underwater archaeology in an “design for all” approach, including engaging people with disabilities. Joyner Library to host “Racism & Propaganda in Jim Crow Era Pop Culture: A Closer Look”

Led by associate professors Dr. David Dennard and Dr. Kennetta Perry from the Department of History in the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, the program will feature a discussion about the role of propaganda in the history of United States race relations and modern popular culture.
