Faculty Awards
Alternative Textbook Grants
Each year, faculty apply and are selected to participate in the library’s Alternative Textbook Program for that academic year. Our program gives faculty the option to switch to course materials that are free to students or to build more inclusive and/or localized course materials. Faculty receive a $1000 award and are pair with personal librarian to assist them with the transition to their new course materials.

Faculty Author Book Awards
Each year, Academic Library Services and Academic Affairs recognize faculty and other researchers in the division who have contributed to the prestige of East Carolina University through the creation and dissemination of scholarly monographs.
