Upcoming talks highlight Joyner exhibits

Joyner Library’s Special Collections and the Joyner Library Diversity Committee will host two talks on current exhibits featuring photos and other materials from the library’s collections.

Assistant University Archivist Patrick Cash will speak about “The 10 Demands: A Documented History of ECU and the Civil Rights Movement” on Tuesday, October 29, at 4 p.m. in the fourth floor reading room.

North Carolina Collections curator Jennifer Daugherty’s “Words and Silence: The Media and the Civil Rights Movement” talk has been postponed from its original November 12 date. More details to come. (updated 11/6/19)

 

The exhibits are on display through the end of the fall semester on the first and fourth floors.
