Recapping library Game Night

Academic Library Services’ annual Game Night was held Thursday, Oct. 19. The event was sponsored by the Friends of Joyner Library.

Pumpkin painting was added this year as a fall-themed activity option. Pizza, snacks, video games, card games, board games and more were enjoyed by students, staff, faculty and community members on the first floor of the library in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Students commented that “diverse sets of games and competitions” were available to play and lauded how “the atmosphere was friendly.” In a post-event survey asking participants to describe the library in one word, responses included “fun, cute, comfortable and productive.” Academic Library Services looks forward to hosting another successful Game Night in 2024!
