Time left to view football exhibit
Weeks remain to view “No Quarter: The History of East Carolina Football and Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium” on our library’s second and third floors. The exhibition opened Aug. 1 and the last day to view the full exhibit is Nov. 9.
The library is open to the public and we welcome members of the public to use the library. The only exception is overnight hours between 11 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. when an ECU 1Card is required. Updated library hours are available online via the library’s home page.
ECU homecoming week is Oct. 16-21. The Pirate football team is scheduled to host Charlotte on Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for the annual homecoming game.
Comprehensive details about the exhibit are available at the No Quarter homepage at https://library.ecu.edu/noquarter/.
Activity in August included a special visit by the current East Carolina football team to the library, along with media coverage. Groups of fans and past Pirate football players have visited throughout the semester.
The official exhibit reception was held Sept. 7, two days before the Pirates’ first home game of the season against Marshall.
