Early Maps of North Carolina:
A Selection from East Carolina University’s Special Collections
The third-floor display area in the North Carolina Collection showcases a new exhibit,“Early Maps of North Carolina,” from East Carolina University Special Collections’ holdings. Theodore de Bry’s engraved rendition of John White’s famed watercolor map, “Virginea Pars” is one of the earliest maps exhibited.
