Girl Scouts Visit Special Collections

On Friday, October 24th, Girl Scout Cadette Troop 786 visited Special Collections to earn their bookbinding badge!

Troop members enjoyed making zines about the history of “Women & The Book”, and also had the opportunity to bind their own pamphlets. A special thank you to troop leaders Susan Nguyen and Amy Futrell for collaborating with us, and to Conservator Larry Houston and Preservation Conservation Lab Manager Tracie Hampton for conducting the session.
