What’s going on?
The Special Collections Division is temporarily closed along with Joyner Library due to the Covid-19 Virus Outbreak. East Carolina University is committed to keeping employees, students, and the public safe. Official announcements by the university can be found here. We don’t currently have a timetable on when our doors will be reopening, but we are still here to help.
We are offering virtual reference services via email, chat, and by phone. If you have a question about something in our collections, University history, genealogy, North Carolina, or just want to say hello to someone while you are social distancing, feel free to reach out to us. We have limited access to our physical archival collections and materials but will do the best we can to help you. We can also assist you in using our digital collections and the library’s online databases with newspapers and primary sources. Are you a student needing access to something in one of our collections? Please contact us, we might be able to help.
