Native American Heritage Month: Digitized ECNAO Scrapbooks

Last summer the East Carolina Native American Organization (ECNAO) donated three scrapbooks that document the group’s activities as well as ECU’s curriculum and events relating to Native Americans between 1994-2000.  They add to the University Archives’ Records of ECNAO, which contain the group’s constitution, meeting minutes, and membership rosters, as well as photographs and artifacts.  These scrapbooks are a valuable addition to the collection because our Native American student population remains underrepresented in the university’s archival records.
