East Carolina Native American Organization Exhibit

In honor of American Indian Heritage Month, University Archives has partnered with the East Carolina Native American Organization on an exhibit entitled “Recognizing Past and Present: North Carolina American Indians”. The exhibit is located on the 1^st floor of Joyner Library in the cases in front of the University Writing Center.  The exhibit features artifacts and documents from ECNAO’s collection in University Archives as well as several books about Native Americans, including one by Dr. Christopher Oakley, Chair and Associate Professor in the History Department at ECU.  The exhibit will be on display until February 4, 2018.
